Description

The aim of the research project Holz R3 is the development of a lightweight timber construction method for existing buildings with special consideration of an accompanying sustainability analysis. This includes the further investigation of structural design and building physics aspects with specific attention to durability criteria, as well as the consideration of additional structural properties and static requirements for the broadest possible applicability. Corresponding digital planning and production processes are also to be developed with the aim of increasing planning flexibility and production quality.
