Description

The objective of the cooperation project is the extension of the fiber winding process for the production of fiber-reinforced plastic components (FRP). The range of shapes that can be realized is to be expanded from rotationally symmetrical to double-curved and undercut shapes. The components produced are to be used in the construction industry. A sustainable material system was developed to produce the core required for the process. The sand binder mixture can be dissolved with water and thus separated from the laminate and the winding axis can be separated.

Fibre composite components with double curved geometries were produced on a model scale.
